PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

I have always been an individual who loves to engage with others, and one who loves to learn new knowledge. Naturally, as a curious young person, my inquisitive thinking and love for learning has led me to become very passionate about the human brain and behaviours, especially mental health. I also think it is vital to highlight and work towards a future where there is a significant importance in education around mental health. This will enable individuals to have a better understanding of their own experience and not feel alone. 

How I help

My therapeutic style is always specific to the client, by utilising evidence-based practice I can make sure that my client’s goals are aligned with therapies and techniques that have been proven to provide the best quality of care. In my experience I have worked with individuals from across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults of culturally diverse backgrounds in both therapy intervention and assessment-based therapy. Therapeutic techniques I most enjoy utilising when working alongside my clients are: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Relaxation Techniques and more.

I appreciate that at Boutique Psychology I can work with such a great and supportive team. I know I thrive in a welcoming and collaborative environment which is very present here at Boutique Psychology. I also am grateful that I’m in a workplace where I can work with individuals across the lifespan and help create a warm therapeutic space for all.

Things I love to do

​

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I come from a musical and sporty background; therefore, I love to be surrounded by live music or outside with nature. I like to say that I’m well-rounded and share a lot of interests with others, I enjoy reading any genre of books, as well as spending time watching television and movies. I also love making memories with my family and friends, and being sure to capture good photos along the way.
