Our Appointments

We like you don't like wait times and work to identify the needs of the client to book them with the right clinician. Currently our wait times are a few days.

Why a Provisional Psychologist instead of a Registered Psychologist?

Provisional Psychologists are completing an internship similar to your registrar program. Provisional Psychologists work under a registered supervisor in the clinical setting. They are passionate about mental health and use the support of more experienced board approved supervisors to ensure best outcomes for clients. As they are not eligible for Medicare rebates, they have reduced fees which may be appropriate for your clients.

Are Provisional Psychologists registered with AHPRA?

Yes, all Provisional Psychologists are registered with AHPRA and held to the same high standard of the board as their fully registered peers.

Do Provisional Psychologists follow the same reporting/requirements of Medicare as Registered Psychologists?

Yes, it is good clinical practice to ensure that the clinical team supporting an individual are kept up to date on progress. Our clinicians (no matter their registration) will write to you to confirm we have accepted the referral and will keep you up to date at appointment 6 and 10. If they believe you need more information more often they will write to you based on your clients needs.
